Come join Meg Ito, from Farrington Nature Linc and Friends of Woodlands and Waters as we explore the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge. This is a family-friendly event that will include hands-on nature activities, as well as games, tools and ideas on how to engage with nature, and your local wildlife refuge.
Be prepared to walk in the woods, run in the grass, and get a little messy. Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. Best suited for families with children aged 6-12 years. Registration is limited and sign ups are required. This is not a drop off class but rather a fun, family program.
This program is free. Donations gratefully accepted.
We will run 4 sessions between Oct-Dec 2025.
Expect new activities and themes each session.
