Get outside for a lunch hour fern identification walk at 12:30p. This is a free event. We'll meet at the Bill Ashe visitor area of the Oxbow National Wildlife. From Jackson Rd, head W on Givry St. Keep left when it becomes Hospital Rd. The driveway is on the left, just past New England Studios. The walk will be about an hour long, but you can leave at any time. Hope to see you there.

Your guide will be Elizabeth Perry, a geologist living in Shirley, who explores Oxbow and other nearby areas for ferns. She’s an active member of the Pioneer Valley Fern Society of western Massachusetts.
